Tombstone diecut, USA, Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, early 1930s, 16” h x 10.25” w. Gibson produced this gobsmacking non-embossed diecut during the early 1930s. They  differentiated themselves from their better capitalized competitors, Beistle and Dennison, by bold design that catch the eye, especially given the visual statement this piece makes. Their output was far less than their named competitors, so finding one is nearly impossible making it one of their most highly coveted products even nearly a century later.
